Asbury Park Convention Hall & Paramount Theatre

Two linked oceanfront venues on the Asbury Park Boardwalk: a 3,600-capacity hall over the beach and the adjacent Paramount Theatre.

Convention Hall and the Paramount Theatre sit side by side at the north end of the Asbury Park Boardwalk, joined by the Grand Arcade. The hall extends out over the beach and can hold up to 3,600 people, with an open arena floor and a full stage. The Paramount Theatre is the adjacent, more traditional theater room.

The Boardwalk's official site lists Bruce Springsteen, Elton John, Frank Sinatra and the Rolling Stones among past performers. It does not give construction dates for either building, so none are stated here.

Events vary widely, from concerts to community and private bookings, and the Boardwalk calendar is the place to see what is scheduled. The venue asks visitors who need accessible seating to call the box office rather than book online.
