Monmouth Museum
Art, history and science museum on the Brookdale Community College campus in Lincroft, open Tuesday to Sunday, with a children's Wonder Wing.
The Monmouth Museum's Lincroft site is in Campus Building 10 at Brookdale Community College. It describes itself as a museum of ideas, with changing art, history and science exhibitions. Current listings include the Wonder Wing, the Becker STEAM Wing, the Meyer Nature Area, a dinosaur exhibit and a members' juried show.
The Lincroft museum is open Tuesday to Sunday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and closed Mondays. Weekday wing closures for school tours are posted on the museum's Instagram account, so check before a weekday visit. Strollers are not allowed in the Wonder Wing.
Admission is listed at $15 general and $10 for veterans and seniors 65 and older, with free entry for members and several other groups. Follow signs to Parking Lot 1. The museum also runs workshops, camps and a second gallery in Dunellen, which is outside Monmouth County.
