Deep Cut Gardens is a 54-acre garden and greenhouse complex run by the Monmouth County Park System at 152 Red Hill Road. The county describes it as a living catalog of cultivated and native plants. Highlights include a renovated Rose Parterre with 52 varieties and more than 180 bushes, an All American Selections display garden and a koi pond.

The Horticultural Center has staff to answer plant questions and a reference library, and a Seed Exchange Station works on a take-one, leave-one basis. Garden Safari Backpacks are free from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily, first come first served, with a valid NJ driver's license left with the docent.

The park opens at 8 a.m. and closes at dusk daily, year-round, and the greenhouse follows park hours. Pets are not permitted. Classes are listed on the county's programs page.
